Farming Dream

Our location...

"Battlers Green Farm, which has grown incrementally over the past half-century.

Starting with a single farm shop, it gradually expanded to achieve its present complement of a dozen or so highly distinctive stores, each included for the special quality it can bring this lovely farmyard shopping village.



Back in 1960 they started out by catering for nearby village residents, a valuable service they still provide in this secluded Hertfordshire locality, but now they also attract visitors from more distant areas. When you are here, it is hard to believe that this secluded country location is in fact a mere 15 miles from London’s Marble Arch! People now think nothing of coming to see us, from metropolitan areas that are well-served with regular shopping centres.



Quite apart from its ample free parking, the shopping village offers them a unique shopping experience. No exercise in false nostalgia, Battlers Green Farm itself remains a genuine working farm while the shopping village provides a range of first class quality produce, goods and services in one of England’s most pleasant locations."

Workshop

Our products are sourced from around the world, with only the best quality materials making the cut. This gives us complete free-motion to experiment with multiple finishes and multiple brands. Therefore, the majority of our applications involve mixing different coloured pigments, aggregates, powders and blends, to create an array of complex finishes.
We have the ability to trial finishes for our clients in a workshop environment, improving both the application process for our team, but also boosting the productivity and turn around of our sample program for each project.
Did you know - Tadelakt a "Moroccan plaster", is made from lime plaster and when we apply black soap which is an olive extract, we create a chemical reaction that creates a waterproof, moldproof and mildew-proof finish, ensuring it is a durable choice for the kitchen or bathroom areas.
